Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Anre (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are between you and the independent developer of Anre (“we”, “us”). Apple is not a party to these Terms.

Anre is a personal tracking and informational tool. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or dosing recommendations.
- Content in the App (including any compound/substance information, mechanisms, “reported effects”, references, or calculations) is provided for informational and record-keeping purposes only and must not be relied upon as medical guidance.
- Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any medication, supplement, hormone therapy, diet, or exercise program.
- Never exceed therapeutic limits or bypass clinical supervision. Do not use any substance except under the direction of a qualified physician and in compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
- The App does not sell, supply, source, or facilitate the acquisition of any substance.
- You are solely responsible for your health decisions and for complying with all applicable laws. We are not liable for any outcome resulting from your use of the App.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old and legally able to enter these Terms to use the App.
4. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s App Store Terms and these Terms, for your personal, non-commercial use.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App except as permitted by law; (b) use the App for unlawful purposes; (c) rely on the App for emergency or clinical decision-making; (d) submit content through AI features that you are not authorized to process. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for maintaining backups (e.g., via iCloud).
6. Subscriptions & payments
Certain features require a paid subscription (“Pro”), sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store.
- Price and billing period are shown at purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You can restore purchases within the App.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
7. AI features
AI-assisted import and insights are provided “as is” and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Outputs are not professional advice. Verify all results independently. Do not submit content you are not comfortable sending to a third-party AI provider (see Privacy Policy).
8. Intellectual property
The App, its design, and its content (excluding your personal data) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. These Terms grant no ownership rights.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ACCURACY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR HEALTH-RELATED DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
10. Apple-required terms
These Terms are between you and us only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App. In the event of App non-conformance to warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. We (not Apple) are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, IP) survive termination.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
